Lisch David

David Lisch, knife maker located in Seattle, WA USA, holds a Journeyman Smith rating in the American Bladesmith Society, and is working on his Master Smith accreditation.

David is well known and respected for his beautiful Bowie knives and recently has been focusing more attention on chef's knives and he is a maker to watch in this area.


David’s damascus shows patterns that are clean and controlled. His knives push the boundaries, with great attention to unique guard styles and beautiful handle shapes. As well as being a blade smith, David runs a successful blacksmith business and teaches knife making at his school, Studio 4 Forging Facility in Seattle WA.
