Young member of ABS (American Bladesmith Society), Alessio D'Emilio - born in 1986 - has undertaken the bladesmithing art in 2016, and in just 3 years has already achieved excellent results.

After the first approach as a self-taught, the young bladesmith from Frosinone (Italy) had a valid support from the knife makers friends Pasquale De Bartolomeo and Elvis Stepcic, refining his technique and knowledge of steels.

He has made various types of blades, from bowies style to utility knives, preferring chef knives in which he best expresses his passion.

Alessio, in addition to forging damascus, has made several time SanMai steel, also using sintered stainless steel like the CPM S90V, then tested by De Bartolomeo.

Moreover Alessio's creations are embellished with engravings and pyrographies that his partner, Dorotea, makes on every material (including ivory, leather and wood).
