Lee Lerman, knife maker from Netanya (Israel), was fashinated by knives since he was teenager and he found his vocation for knife making at the young age of fifteen.


His interest was started collecting production knives, but his creative spirit and his desire to turn his passion for knives in a future job, has led him to embark on the path of knife maker.
Indeed he started to make knives, completely self-taught, as a hobby but very quickly and with perseverance, in 2012 at the age of 23 years, he has become a full-time knifemaker and in 2014, at Solingen Knife Makers'Show, he won "Best Folding Knife" awords with the first folding knife design that he has created.

He works by stock removal and devotes special attention to the quality of materials and finishes. He uses for baldes mostly CPM D2 and some carbon damascus, for handle materials he loves all kinds of materials, such as carbon fiber, g10, exotic wood, micarta, and so on.


He takes inspiration from many things around him and he designs his knives with the main idea that they must be functional and practical but also aesthetically appealing.
Talent is a good starting point, but it is not enough to achieve success; it needs also tenacity, and Lee Lerman has been shown to have all the qualities to become a prestigious knife maker.
